The truth is, there are more than 100 questions that need to be answered when a death occurs, and it can be tough to process when a family is also dealing with grief. However, if you have answers ahead of time, your loved ones can focus on grieving instead of making arrangements. The first question I ask families is “Why do you want to preplan?” Most don’t want to be a burden to their family, which is why preplanning is such a gift, because it can give families peace and healing when they need it most.
